In order for a turf to grow and thrive, it needs a number of different chemical elements. The most important are:

  • Carbon, hydrogen and oxygen - Available from air and water and therefore in plentiful supply
  • Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium - The three macronutrients and the three elements you find in most packaged fertilizers
  • Sulfur, calcium, and magnesium - Secondary nutrients
  • Boron, cobalt, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc - Micronutrients

To make turf grow faster, what you need to do is supply the elements that the grass needs in readily

available forms. That is the goal of fertilizer.

If you need wetting agents blended into your blend, we can also provide that.

Foliar Line of Fertilizers, Soil Conditions & Calcium

Keep it Green Foliar fertilizers are believed by many to be the most efficient way to fertilize turf grass. With lower rates and a lower chance of leaching, foliar fertilizers are a good choice for many people.

The small portion of foliar fertilizer that does not go through the leaf is absorbed by the soil, and the only disadvantage to this type of application is that more light and frequent applications are needed, and sometimes equipment is needed that many consumers do not own.

SOLUBLES

SEP Solubles are a complete macro and micro all in a soluble form to protect the nitrogen with Agrotain.

SOIL AMENDMENTS

Soil Amendments include a wide range of fertilizers and non-organic materials. They can be used to improve poor soils, or to rebuild soils which have been damaged by improper management. Poor soils will become more usable. Are generally used to maintain soils in peak condition.
